The ATP and WTA hardcourt tournament is close to a close after four exciting semi-final matches on Saturday between Kaya Kanepi and Daria Savil and Lyudmila Samsonova and Siyu Wang on the women’s team. And for men, Nick Kyrgios and Mikael Ymer participated in the matches, and, finally, Andrey Rublev and Yoshihito Nishioka.

Who won the women’s Citi Open semi-finals?

The women’s semi-finals took place on Saturday, August 6, and were won by world No. 37 Kaia Kanepi and world No. 60 Ludmila Samsonova.

In the first semi-final, Estonian tennis player Kaia Kanepi faced Australian Daria Saville and won 6-3, 6-1.

In the second semi-final, Russia’s Ludmila Samsonova met China’s Siyu Wang and secured the victory with a score of 6:1, 6:1.

Who will compete in the Women’s Citi Open Final?

Kanepi and Samsonova will face off in the Citi Open Final on Sunday, August 7 at 2:30 pm ET.

Kanepi achieves his first title in nine years and Samsonova achieves her second WTA singles title.
