2022 Penn State football: Nittany Lions’ tight ends preview

The passing game really allowed Penn State to show that he was accepting talent. In recent memory we saw Pat Freiermuth as well as Mike Gesicki who turned the success of the State College into the success of the NFL.

Among the tight end talent this year are NFL-level talent. Players love Theo Johnson as well as Brenton Strange have already garnered media attention by being on the John McKee Award watchlist. Both men are expected to be of great value in Penn State offense due to their unique skills.

The room itself has a good mix of young and old players. Coach James Franklin has shown a penchant for giving NFL talent in all positions, and so he now recognizes that he must have deep lineups in the pro positions.
