This is the most exciting month in college basketball, and in preparation for March Madness 2023, NBC Sports is bringing the second round and quarterfinals of the 2023 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Tournament live on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9 on USA Network. Each day, coverage includes nine hours of A-10 action from Barclays Center in New York, with eight matches over two days.

With a conference record of 15-3 (24-7 overall), the VCU Rams captured the A-10 regular season title and will face No. 8 Davidson against No. 9 St. Bonaventure in the quarterfinals. The Wildcats and Bonnies kick off play in the second round on Wednesday at 11:30 am ET. The two teams met once in the 2023 regular season and on February 22, Davidson won at home, 74–61. At the helm of these programs is Matt McKillop in his first year as Davidson’s head coach, going head-to-head with Mark Schmidt, whose 282 wins over 16 seasons made him the best winning coach in the history of the Bonnies program.

On Tuesday’s first round, Richmond #12 eliminated #13 Massachusetts, St. Joseph’s #10 triumph over #15 Loyola Chicago, and #11 La Salle scored a 73–56 win over #14 Rhode Island.
