East Kentwood (MI) junior linebacker Stellan Bowman is on the board with its first bids as Miami (Ohio), Western Michigan and Kent State made all bids last week.
After an all-state, all-conference, and all-region season, Bowman has been patiently waiting for offers to come in, and now they have a 6-foot-0, 210-pound prospect.
“It was great to finally make my dreams come true,” he said. “I’ve been working on this since I was five years old and it just makes me want to work even harder.”
Since the Broncos were closer to home, he was on their campus.
“I’ve been to West Michigan a few times in the past and built up a relationship with them over the past two years, while Miami, Ohio is relatively new to me,” Bowman said. “Both schools are great. Many East Kentwood staff and alumni have played there.”
There are a couple of schools that are additionally in contact.
“One of the biggest schools I’m talking about right now is Michigan State. I was supposed to go there on the 28th to attend junior classes, but I already promised to go to Toledo for their junior days that day,” he said. .
In the fall, Bowman also visited schools such as Illinois and Notre Dame.
