Georgia football received its third engagement in four days on Monday when four-star linebacker CJ Allen chose the Tennessee Bulldogs over Auburn, Florida, LSU and others.
Allen joins five-star corner AJ Harris and kicker Peyton Woodring as Doag’s last promises.
Allen, from Lamar County High School in Barnesville, Georgia, chose UGA just a day after visiting Tennessee in Knoxville.
Allen (6’1″, 217 pounds) is a multi-functional athlete who competes in both basketball and track and field, and plays both offense and defense for the Trojans.
In his junior season, Allen had 91 tackles and three interceptions while running for 1,080 yards and 16 touchdowns on a running back.
Here’s a look at Allen’s 2021 season:
The Bulldogs now have 12 commits in the class of 2023 and have moved from 10th in the nation to #3 in less than a week.
