Coleman is a candidate to re-sign with the practice squad after the 49ers lost Marlon Mack from their practice squad when he signed with the active Denver roster.
Coleman spent his first four seasons with the Falcons before signing as a free agent with the Photoniners in 2019. He played 22 games in two seasons before moving to the Jets.
In his career, he played 93 games out of 37 starts, 920 touches for 4,636 yards and 38 touchdowns.
