Cooper Kupp benefits the Rams in many ways. Not only is he a very productive receiver, but he is also a great blocker in the running game.

Off the field, he is a great leader who is regularly approached by teammates. As captain of the Rams, he took on a key role in the locker room, and Allen Robinson didn’t hesitate to rely on his new wide receiver partner.

At training camp this week, Robinson said he reached out to Kupp when he had questions about things like his lineup and course times. It also seeps into the filming room, reviewing plays and concepts with Kupp so he can get a better understanding of the attack.

“It was fun. Like I said, Cooper is very knowledgeable about football and has been playing this formation since he got here. So again for me, clearing things up or any questions I have about alignment, various tasks, deadlines. I’ll definitely ask Cooper,” Robinson said. “Or just when we’re watching a movie, I sometimes say things to him during practice that we can discuss after practice or in meetings, just to talk about it, and stuff like that. Just it’s better for me to have clarity on everything. It just helps me play a lot faster so I don’t go on the pitch thinking.Make sure I communicate too much and understand too much splits and things like that because some of the little things in this offense have great importance “.

Robinson knows how to communicate, being a player who isn’t afraid to ask questions. Even when Matthew Stafford didn’t shoot during the OTA, Robinson always asked his quarterback questions on the field, trying to understand the same topic.

It’s the same in training camp, especially when Robinson leans on Kupp.

“He has all the experience in the world to play in this offense,” Robinson said of Kupp. “So knowing a lot of the nuances, like I said, on the breakdown, on the timing, where I need to get to it, certain things to look for on certain routes, because he has experience in offense and he ran all these different concepts. I could build on him a lot, just learning the offense and just trying to find my way and find my way through some concepts and some things on the pitch.”
