Army vs Air Force Game Preview

Why the army will win

The ground attack is still an army ground attack.

In the “game recognizes the game” category, the Navy was able to adequately hold off the Air Force’s advance in the Falcon’s 13-10 victory, and vice versa. Neither team could do a good job and neither side could get the upper hand. The same applies to the Army.

The Air Force has a better year and they are stronger overall, but the battle for turnover should be even, penalties shouldn’t matter much, and again, ground play should be fine. After a lull against Wake Forest, the Knights ran for over 400 yards, defeating Colgate and ULM.

Why the Air Force will win

What will happen

The last four meetings between them were not very productive and were decided by one score. It’s no different.

Neither side will go against the other – everyone knows what they’re doing – but the Air Force will be a little sharper in their running game, the defense will be a little better, and the Army will allow one additional penalty.

It will be tense, but the Air Force will break a two-game losing streak and take the trophy of the commander in chief.
