Another sublime event on the PGA tour, another busy field.
44 of the top 50 players in the official world golf rankings will compete next week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. No tournament has featured more than the top 50 players since the 2022 Open at St Andrews.
All of the top 30 players on the FedExCup standings are on the field, including all 13 Tour winners this season.
19 of last year’s PIP’s 20 players will tee at Bay Hill, with the exception of Tiger Woods.
Golf fans will once again see three of the world’s best players take on each other, with Jon Rahm, Scotty Sheffler and Rory McIlroy visiting Arnie. Scheffler will look to defend his title after winning last year’s single-punch draw over Viktor Hovland, Tyrrell Hatton and Billy Horschel.
