LONDON – All eyes are now on Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge after they were knocked out of the Europa League on penalties midweek, with Crystal Palace on the agenda.
They thought an old friend walked in at the visitors’ entrance at the Emirates Stadium (watch live Sunday at 10:00 ET on USA Network and online via NBCSports.com), but Patrick Vieira was unexpectedly sacked due to opposition from Palace.
Arsenal are looking to pick up three more points in pursuit of the unpredictable Premier League crown, while Palace are badly out of shape and now without a coach.

Arsenal have amassed 66 points and could extend their table lead over Manchester City to eight with a win as Manchester City fulfill their FA Cup obligations and will therefore have a game in hand after the international break.
Palace have not won the league this year and are in 12th place with 27 points after a mid-week loss to Brighton & Hove Albion in the M23 derby.

Key storylines and star players
Gabriel Jesus started Thursday in the Europa League, so it’s easy to predict that the Gunners will play deep on Sunday, not in another start of their ideal star. Leandro Trossar, Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Thomas Partey and Bukayo Saka remained on the bench in the opening game against Sporting Lisbon, but the Gunners, playing 120 minutes and then losing on penalties, will certainly challenge them.
Palace are hoping to get something from Wilfrid Zaha here. He’s been more like a red card candidate lately, but we all know Zaha is electrifying when he’s in good shape. Michael Olize and Eberechi Eze will become even better playmakers once Zaha starts scoring goals.
