“Only the family atmosphere really stood out for me and my family,” Wilson told 247Sports. “They were the first Power Five program to believe in me, so that means a lot. I love how authentic the trainers are with me because not only do they tell me how important I am to them, but they would come to school and show me they cared by watching me work out and just sit and talk to me about life, so it meant a lot. So just a real relationship.”

At 5’9″ and weighing 175 pounds, Wilson is one of the fastest prospects in the country, including a 4.34 40-yard run at Ole Miss and a 10.42 in the 100-yard dash at the Ole Miss. spring on the treadmill.

As a junior, Wilson registered 30 tackles, seven assists and one interception. He blocked four field goals and scored two defensive touchdowns.

Wilson has admired Baylor since the fall and believes he plays in the same style as Jalen Pitre who was selected in the second round of the recent NFL Draft.

“I feel like the defense scheme suits me,” Wilson said after a fall game visit. “I can play safe, corner or nickel. I can jump off the edge. I am very comfortable in the press man or zone. So I feel like the way they use their defensive backs will make Baylor a great candidate for me.”
