Cincinnati Bengals enter another week as favorites, this time for the fourth week of Thursday Night Football with the Miami Dolphins.
It’s amazing on several levels. First, the Bengals were hardly favorites at the start of last year’s season, and the 1-2 start proved to be more difficult than expected.
Secondly, these Dolphins are now the NFL’s hottest team with a 3-0 record and key AFC wins over New England, Baltimore and Buffalo.
However, judging by the lines Typical bookmakerThe Bengals enter the competition as favorites with 3.5 points.
This is partly because this team is losing at Peykor Stadium in Cincinnati, otherwise the two teams are about equal. Miami blasted out of the net thanks to a big step from under center by Tua Tagovailoa as he hit targets like Tyreke Hill.
But it also doesn’t hurt that the Bengals finally woke up last week in a 27-12 win over the Jets, getting a big blast off the offense under Joe Burrow.
On paper, Bengals feel like a good bet on this type of spread given the short week. especially at home for the whiteout.
