All USFL regular season games in 2022 will be held in Birmingham. The Stallions lose that advantage in the postseason as games move to Canton.

Running back Beau Skarbro gave the Stallions 105 yards, including a 28-yard drive that shut the door on the Panthers’ run for the win. Instead, the Panthers (led by longtime NFL head coach Jeff Fischer) fell to 1–5. (And yes, he still has a chance to finish a 10-game season with nine losses.)

The game, which aired live on NBC, was moved to CNBC with about three minutes left. More important than late local news was the anticipation Saturday night life season finale. Anyone who watched the game on Peacock didn’t notice the change.

Anyone who has looked at NBC may not have noticed either; at that time it was already 33-17. There was no threat Heidi reprise.
