BJ Ojulari to wear traditional No. 18 jersey this fall

Saturday coach Brian Kelly announced that junior winger BJ Ojulari would wear the No. 18 jersey, which is awarded to the player who best exemplifies LSU football. Kelly praised Ojulari both on and off the field at SEC Media Days, and this only confirms it.

The tradition of the #18 jersey has been around since 2003 and Ojulari follows it. Damon Clarkwho wore it last season and became the SEC tackle leader.

Having seen quite a bit of action as a rotational player during his true rookie season, Ojulari started in 12 of the 13 games he played last fall. He had 55 tackles and led the team with seven sacks. His 11.5 tackles for loss also ranked second on the team.

Augulari has been consistently featured on the All-SEC preseason lists and is expected to be one of the top forwards in college football this season. He will enter the season with a vote of confidence from Kelly and his team.
