Based on multiple reports, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will release seasoned player Bradley Pignon on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old has spent the past three seasons with the Bucks after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers. He struggled last year both in his shooting duties and as a kickoff specialist, but also dealt with injuries throughout the season.
The Bucks selected Georgia player Jake Camarda in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, a clear sign that the team was planning to leave Piñon.
The move saves the Bucs about $2 million in the salary cap for the 2022 season.
