Matthews has already made official visits to Cincinnati and Ohio. The 247Sports crystal ball is currently backing the Buckeyes, but Cincinnati is also making the prediction.

Bearcats have a commitment from a teammate Cameron Calhoun.

Matthews is on the Athlete Roster because he will be playing every minor position this season, from cornerback to NICKEL and safety. It is clear, however, that his future will be somewhere in the secondary defense.

At both 247Sports and the 247Sports Composite, Matthews is one of the top 10 recruits in Ohio State.
