corner defender Zion Tracy did well at Penn State camp last week and will be back on campus soon.

Oakdale, Connecticut Ave. St. Thomas More, who is a graduate student, has made an official visit to the University of Pennsylvania. He will be on campus when the Nittany Lions host Ohio on September 10.

The proposal for an official visit came during a zoom call with the coach of the Nittany Lions. James Franklinand is on the heels of a strong performance at the Pennsylvania camp.

At 5’11” and 180 pounds, Tracy has been climbing all summer, culminating in a strong performance at Penn State camp. He said he ran under 4.4 in the 40-yard dash and hit 4.28 in the shuttle. He also had a triple long jump over 32 feet.

Tracy, who also camped in Georgia, also visited Rutgers in late July. His offer list includes Scarlet Knights, Syracuse, Temple, Buffalo, Marshall and UConn.

Last season he was at the Long Island Lutheran congregation in Glen Head, New York, but plans to move to St. Thomas More in the fall.

Not only did Tracy perform well at Camp Penn State, he also excelled at Camp BONE at Springfield College, Massachusetts, in June. He has shown the ability to redirect wide receivers in press coverage, flip hips and run across the field, and has demonstrated strong ball handling skills and closing speed while being the best defensive player in camp.
