Chase Claypool: Kenny Pickett’s mobility is going to create plays

Receiver Steelers Chase Claypool tried to claim to be one of the top three receivers in the league with his comments about I am a sportsman podcast.

But he also had some comments about the team’s new rookie quarterback number 20 overall. Kenny Pickett.

Along with co-host LeShawn, McCoy raved about Pickett, saying he didn’t see the difference between Pickett and the Bengals quarterback. Joe BurrowClaypool noted the positives he saw in the young QB during the offseason. And Claypool noticed the qualities that games like this can create, like Burrow does with his wide outs. Ja’Marr Chase as well as Ty Higgins.

“[Pickett] looks good. It’s mobile,” Claypool said. “He’s faster than people thinkso this will be new to us. And I think it will create plays. You see so many Ja’Marr and T games that Joe pockets and makes the games possible. And you know, we’re young, we’re versatile, we’re dynamic, so he’s going to add to that.”

Claypool added that Mitchell Trubisky as well as Mason Rudolph They also show mobility, so these qualities should be in the game no matter who the starting quarterback is.

Whether or not Pickett starts the 2022 season as Pittsburgh’s QB1, he’ll likely fill that position sooner rather than later. And if Claypool is going to achieve the high performance he predicted, Pickett will play a significant role in this.
