Chiefs favorites to win next season’s Super Bowl

The Kansas City Chiefs, who just picked up a dramatic win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday night, are already the favorites to win next season’s Super Bowl.

At Caesars, the favorites to win Super Bowl LVIII are the Chiefs at +550, followed by the San Francisco 49ers at +600 and the Buffalo Bills at +650. The Eagles are next with +800 at the bookmaker’s Super Bowl early odds.

The Chiefs rallied after a 10-point break to win Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII behind quarterback Patrick Mahomes. They were among the Super Bowl favorites throughout the season, but entered the game as underdogs for the first time in the last 15 playoff games, the longest such streak in the Super Bowl era.

The Eagles managed to win that off-season Super Bowl 50-1, but they went through the regular season and playoffs to reach the Finals, where they were unable to hold onto the Chiefs’ draw in the second half.

Off-season storylines featuring high-profile quarterbacks including Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson will impact Super Bowl odds. Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens get +3500 each.

The Denver Broncos, who hired coach Sean Payton last week, hit +4,500. The Broncos’ chances of winning next season’s Super Bowl have not changed since Payton was hired.

The Houston Texans have the best chance of starting the offseason with a 125-1 record. Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears 100-1.
