The fourth week of the college football season on Saturday was a rollercoaster ride from noon ET until well after midnight. No. 6 Oklahoma was stunned at Kansas State’s home in a game in which the Sooners defense conceded five full touchdowns to quarterback Adrian Martinez. A defeat could well deprive them of their chance of making the college football playoffs in the future. Elsewhere, USC #7 escaped with a win over Oregon State in a thrilling game that proved that the Trojan offense might not be as powerful as it seemed in the first three games of the season.
The SEC was everywhere. Alabama beat Vanderbilt, Tennessee beat Florida, Arkansas fell off the invincible list after losing to Texas A&M, and Georgia was incredibly sloppy in their win over Kent State.
With another hectic Saturday ahead, let’s score all the top contenders for the national title based on their Caesars Sportsbook odds ahead of the weekend.
