While Patterson wears number 84 after entering the league as a wide receiver, he is now a conscientious running back who continues to play. He had 17 carries for 141 yards with a touchdown in Sunday’s win, as well as one reception for 12 yards.

He rushed for at least 120 yards in two of Atlanta’s three games, as he recorded 120 rushing yards and three 16-yard catches in the Falcons’ first loss to the Saints.

Patterson was named Offensive Player of the Week for the first time. And Patterson is the first falcon to return to earn the honorary title since Devonta Freeman in 2016.

After a long trip to the West Coast, the Falcons will try to continue playing at home against the Browns on Sunday.
