“At Roland Garros there was a covid outbreak that nobody talked about. In the locker room, many people had it and nobody said anything. When it comes to light and it is discovered that important players had it… It will cause a fire,” said the French tennis player at a press conference, who demanded different treatment for those affected.

“There will always be tennis players who retire because they are sick. I don’t want to underestimate the effect of covid, but there are tournaments in which many players get food poisoning, but we are not going to make a protocol for it. We have been with him for a long time covid, there are vaccines… If we go back to how we were a few months ago I will stop playing tournaments,” he added.

“We had symptoms, but we played and everything went well. We were not going to test ourselves to have to leave,” he said.
