Elliott’s one-yard run tied the score at 13-13 with 27 seconds left in the third quarter.
The Cowboys responded to the Giants’ six-poke scoring shot for 77 yards with a nine-push touchdown of their own for 75 yards. After the Cowboys agreed to field goals following outings on the New York 8s and 10s in the first half, they weren’t about to say no again.
Elliott scored the third goal from the first.
It was the first quick touchdown allowed by the Giants this season.
Elliott has 12 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown, and Tony Pollard has seven carries for 72 yards.
