wide receiver Dennis Houston was removed from the register. An undrafted rookie will be eligible for the other 31 teams in the league to qualify for a waiver.

The Cowboys didn’t take a spot on the 53-man roster, but they’ll likely use it to sign their practice team. Quarterback Will Grier and offensive lineman Alex Lindstrom were promoted as two of the weekly promotions last Sunday. They may be promoted again, but they may also need to call on titular Sean McKeon if Dalton Schultz out of action with a knee injury and in this scenario, one of the elevations must be officially signed on the roster.
