Raiders Wide Receiver Davante Adams was due to appear in court on Monday to move on to settling an assault charge he faces for pushing a photographer after an October loss to the Chiefs in Kansas City, but that has been delayed by several months.
Vincent Bonsignor of Las Vegas Review Magazine announces that the date of the trial was moved dated 26 June. Adams is charged with violating an assault order in Kansas City for pushing a photographer to the ground as he left the field after the October 14 loss.
Adams faces a potential fine of $250 to $1,000, up to 180 days in jail, or both as a result of the charge.
The NFL could also penalize Adams, although any league action is expected to be delayed pending the completion of the lawsuit.
