wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins won’t be a free agent when the new year starts next week in the league, but a potential move to a new team will still be seen.
There was a lot of talk about the Cardinals trading Hopkins, and the team didn’t say anything to make it seem unlikely that the teams could start trading next week. During a speech at The Pat McAfee ShowHopkins said he and his reps “do not publish anything themselves,” but they listen to everything that is said elsewhere.
“I heard many trade negotiations, but I take things day by day,” Hopkins said. “I don’t look to the future, I live in the present moment. Right now, the Arizona Cardinals are the team and roster that I play for. I’m preparing for whatever the future holds. I don’t really look forward to the future, I let you guys take care of it.”
Hopkins recently said that one of the places where he heard his name is Dallas, and the buzz around the move could increase significantly in the coming days.
