RIO DE JANEIRO. Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno once again talked about something poignant, this time during UFC 283 promotion during a press conference in Rio de Janeiro on November 9th.
Figueiredo and Moreno will unify the flyweight titles in the main event of the January 21st pay-per-view in Brazil, and Deus da Guerra has claimed he has someone watching his opponents practice ahead of their fourth fight .
“Like I said, this is Brazil and everything he does here will go to me,” Figueiredo said. “I know the game of this man, he is no different. It’s the same game. When you introduced me, it was luck. It won’t happen again, I’m training for you, crybaby.
Asked what he plans to do differently this time around after going 1-1-1 against the Brazilian in the octagon over the past two years, Moreno simply laughed at Figueiredo’s claims.
“Now he has a lot of videos about me, he has a lot of information,” joked Moreno, who lost a decision in their last fight, but a few months later won the interim title in a fight with Kai Cara-France. “I still think I won the fight, but I definitely made mistakes in my last fight against Daveson. Now we have a concrete plan, that’s all. I don’t want to say too much, because he has videos and everything, he follows me, that’s all. This is my gameplay, surprise him.”
Figueiredo immediately added: “I infiltrated someone from your team,” and Moreno smiled back at him.
“My God, spy Deiveson Figueiredo,” he said. “Be careful.”
