Key storylines, players to keep an eye on

Christian Eriksen joins Danish captain Simon Kjaer as centurions and Denmark has many players in their prime. Tottenham’s Pierre-Emil Høibjerg will help lead midfield in an enticing group that includes Eriksen, Matthias Jensen, Christian Norgaard and Thomas Delaney.

Tunisia boasts recent victories over Egypt, Japan and Nigeria and beat Iran 2-0 a few days ago. There are veterans in the team, but the midfield is younger and they will have to face the strength of Denmark. As for the youth, could 19-year-old Hannibal Maybry be the star of the tournament, or could it be Brøndby’s Anis Ben Slimane? Look out for 25-year-old Aissa Laiduni (Ferencváros) to make his presence felt early and often.
