Drama ‘Laj’ CamaraThe 6-foot shooting guard from the NBA African Academy dedicated himself to DePaul, sources told 247Sports.

Camara is a big, long quarterback who became a major player in July 2022 and has received offers and interests from several schools around the country, including Xavier, San Jose State and UT Chattanooga.

The international standout has a massive seven-foot wingspan, a 200-pound weight and a college-ready body.

In addition to having physical tools, Kamara is a very confident and aggressive shooter from behind the arc.

He has a range that goes beyond the patch, and if he starts to act, he will have the opportunity to rattle off a flurry of jumpers.

Camara also has potential as a goalscorer and playmaker thanks to his dribbling ability.

At this stage, he is still developing his grip and decision-making ability, but as long as he works on these areas, his size, length, motor skills and shooting accuracy will be useful tools for Tony Stubblefield at both ends of the court.

Kamara is DePaul’s second commitment in the class of 2023, joining Babacar Mbenga.
