An unknown injury forced Derek Brunson to withdraw from the UFC Orlando tournament. His place will be taken by Roman Dolidze, who will face Jack Hermansson at the tournament on December 3rd.
Several people aware of the change confirmed this MMA Fighting news after the initial post from ESPN.com. The Dolidze vs. Hermansson fight will be featured on the main ESPN card, televised from the Amway Center.
UFC Orlando will headline a welterweight bout between two-time title challenger Stephen Thompson and Kevin Holland.
Dolidze is quickly recovering from his impressive performance at UFC Vegas 63 last month, where he knocked out Phil Hawes. It was his third straight win since losing a decision against Trevin Giles and he improved his record in the octagon to 5-1.
Hermansson is sidelined for four months from deciding to replace Chris Curtis on short notice, putting him back in the winning column after a 1-3 drift blew his title shot hopes.
