“Unfortunately, This is an anterior cruciate ligament tear.“Commander coach Ron Rivera said via USA Today’s Brian Manning on Wednesday. “You could call it almost contactless. They put a foot on him. He will go through the whole process with the doctors and the team will take care of all his medical needs. He will be in IC.

White released a statement on social media on Wednesday evening.

“Thank you all for the kind messages and support,” he wrote. “I am incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people around me. It’s just another chapter in the book I’m writing. I will come back stronger.”

White was one of three undrafted free agent linebackers signed by Washington.
