The Eagles will get another tight end on the field in training camp.
On Wednesday, the team announced that Richard Rogers was activated from the list of physically incapable of work. Rogers was listed after arriving at the camp on 27 June.
Rodgers has played part of the last four seasons with the NFC East, including three games after initially signing with the training team last year. He has 27 catches for 363 yards and two touchdowns in 25 games for the team.
Dallas Goedert is the best tight end in Philadelphia. Rogers joins Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra, Noah Togiaiand covered wide JJ Arcega-Whiteside in active composition with Tyree Jackson still on the pup list.
