What You Need to Know for Tuesday MLB Games

Tuesday’s best starting pitcher: Nick Lodolo (31%). The rookie has been pretty good this season, posting 11.7 K/9 and 3.29 xFIP to support his 3.81 ERA. The matchup against Boston isn’t perfect, but his strong skill set still sees him top 10 in THE BAT X today.

If you’re in desperate need of starts, Austin Voth (4%) is available pretty much everywhere and is in an elite matchup against the Tigers. Skills leave a lot to be desired, but THE BAT X thinks he can post a low 4.00s ERA with 1.26 WHIP and 5 outs.
Dodgers and Diamondbacks play twice today. The Dodgers draft is ranked #1 and #2 today, but unfortunately most of their guys who will play both games are long gone in your leagues. However, it is worth checking if you have Chris Taylor in touch (58%). The Diamondbacks have Christian Walker (78%) and Josh Rojas (66%) as elite options when available. If not, then Geraldo Perdomo (less than 1%) has played almost all games, while Jake McCarthy (48%) and Alec Thomas (5%) have a chance to play both.
If you don’t have a closet for double-header guys, we still have Giants in Coors Field vs. Kyle Freeland doing their right-handed elite games. Wilmer Flores (75%), Evan Longoria (1%), JD Davis (under 1%) and Joey Bart (4%) in particular are strong options. But anyone who hacks the lineup (left-handed or right-handed) deserves some serious attention.
If you’re looking for theft in the future, see if Garrett Hampson (under 1%) can crack the Colorado lineup today. Carlos Rodon is a great pitcher but very easy to get robbed and that’s Coors Field. Otherwise, look out for Cleveland guys like Miles Stroh (23%) and Andres Jimenez (76%), while Amed Rosario (85%) and Steven Kwan (77%) are slightly less options. They run into Dylan Seas, who is also an Elite but is easily robbed.
