That’s how quickly we got through almost half of the 2022 baseball regular season. Barring any delays, exactly half of all scheduled games will be registered next Tuesday.
For some, this is a familiar tune. For others, even the most seasoned fantasy managers, this may come as a surprise. After all, the baseball world advertises its “middle” as an All-Star Game in two weeks. This is an annual scheduling trick and shouldn’t take you by surprise. Realize that from next Tuesday you only have enough time left in the season to make up for any deficit your team has created up to this point.
This time may seem insignificant, but it is not. Sure, many fantasy managers might be more in the mood for trades during the All-Star break when they’re enjoying a three-day ‘down’, but the best of them are always thinking about improving the roster and staying ahead of the game as long as the competition for deals isn’t that high. . There is no better time than today to get a head start on trades to help you stretch.
To help you along the way, here are three players I would trade for right now, as well as three I would trade anywhere.
