The New Orleans Saints won their fourth game of the season last week, beating Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams 27-20 at home. Tight end Juwan Johnson had three receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown, but where will he place in the Week 12 Fantasy Football rankings? Johnson has caught a touchdown in his last three games, but he will now face a 49ers defense that is only 283.9 yards behind per game.

Should Johnson be included in your Fantasy Football rankings in Week 12? And how are you supposed to handle Bears QB Justin Fields, who is listed as “everyday” with a shoulder injury preventing him from throwing? Before creating fantasy football lineups, be sure to Check out the Week 12 Fantasy Football rankings from SportsLine’s proven computer model..

When it comes to player rankings, the SportsLine model has outperformed the human experts in fantasy football over the past few seasons, especially when there have been big ranking differences. Over the course of a season, that can literally be the difference between winning the league or going home empty-handed.

Last week, the model was highly praised by running back Tony Pollard of the Cowboys, claiming he would finish in the top 10 in his position. Result: Pollard ran 15 times for 80 yards and caught all six of his goals for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 40-3 win over the Vikings. Everyone with him on the lineup was on their way to a huge week.

Now the model, which mimics every NFL game 10,000 times, has revealed its fantasy football rankings in week 12 of the 2022 NFL season. Head to SportsLine now to see them.

Best Fantasy Football Picks of Week 12

This week, the model has one player in high regard: Dolphin Runner Raheem Mostert. Mostert had another productive game against the Browns, dribbled eight times for 65 yards and touched down. He also hit all four targets for another 22 yards. He has now found the end zone in his last two games and has hit the target at least four times in passing play in two of his last four games.

Mostert has averaged at least 4.6 yards per carry in three of his last four games, and he could have a big workload Sunday against the Texans. If Miami gets ahead early on, the Dolphins will want to speed up the game by handling the ball. That’s one of the main reasons Model included Mostert in the top 20 runners this week, making him a solid RB2 option against the Texans. See who else to target here.

And a big shock: Bengals running back Joe Mixon, who ran for 173 yards and four touchdowns in his last two outings, stumbles big and doesn’t even hit the top 20 in his position. Mixon enters Week 12 and ranks in the top 10 in both rushing attempts (158) and rushing touchdowns (6).

However, Mixon has failed to top 60 yards in four of his last five games and will face a parsimonious Tennessee Titans defense on Sunday. The Titans are second in the NFL in yards allowed, trailing just 82.2 yards per game on the ground. In Cincinnati’s 19–16 win over the Titans last season, Mixon only averaged 3.9 yards per carry to finish with 54 yards. With such a tough matchup on Sunday, Mixon is a player worth considering leaving on the bench in Week 12. Look who else will disappear here.

How to set the Fantasy Football Week 12 Ranking

The model also calls for a surprise quarterback you wouldn’t even think would make it into the top 10 of the Week 12 fantasy football rankings. That choice can be the difference between winning big and coming home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
