Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens may have been on a losing streak in Week 2, but that didn’t stop Lamar from producing the best fantastic quarterback of the week. And it was no small feat in a week full of furious comebacks and amazing fantastic statlines.
Yes, it took Lamar a whopping 42.6 standard points to finish at the top of the QB position – just 1.7 points more than his rival in week two. Tua Tagovailoa, who threw SIX touchdowns. Four of those tuddies went to Tua’s top two receivers, Tyreke Hill as well as Jaylen Waddlethe second and fourth best results of the second week, respectively.
Like I said, it’s been a crazy week.
Lamar’s fantastic 42.6 was backed up by three mid-air touchdowns and another 79-yard run. SEVENTY NINE. That’s a remarkable accomplishment for any running back, let alone a quarterback.
How will he follow up on that performance in Week 3 when he takes on Bill Belichick and the New England defense? How will Tagovailoa continue his career against the elite defense of the Buffalo Bills? Will the Waddle and Hill go crazy again, or will the rollercoaster drop sharply in the third week?
The second week certainly had amazing fantasy endings; Let’s hope the games coming up in Week 3 follow suit! If they do, we can expect some more fireworks up and down our fantasy lineups.
