On the second page of the petition filed on Monday: “It is now known that in many of Watson’s massage sessions there was more than massage therapy—indeed, with at least thirty different women, the ‘more’ that occurred included unwanted sexual harassment and outright sexual abuse by Watson. Each of these thirty-odd women, most of whom are complete strangers to each other, experienced Watson’s strikingly similar behavior.”

24 filed, 20 settled. It is possible that more will be submitted. Watson’s proposed indefinite suspension of at least one year by the league is intended to take the possibility of new lawsuits into account when making final decisions on the case.

Judging by the lawsuit filed on Monday, at least six more lawsuits against Watson are possible.
