Hendon Hooker (TN)

Despite not seeing much team success with Volunteers In 2021, Hendon Hooker had a standout year personally, with nearly 3,000 yards, 68.2% completions and 31 touchdowns with just three interceptions. If his numbers increase with little team success, he can be followed in this race.

USC transfer enters the season trying to fill a big role Carolina Panthers QB Matt Corroll. Dart and Lane Kiffin are perfect for this high-flying Ole Miss assault, and as a conductor, Dart will have the opportunity to put up outlandish numbers.

Anthony Richardson (FL)

[Matt Pendleton/Special to Sun]

Richardson will get his first full season to start with alligators in 2022, and there’s a lot of buzz around this young man in Gainesville. He has a frame comparison with Cam Newton and has averaged nearly eight yards in 51 attempts in 2021. He will be a problem for defenders.

Will Anderson (Alabama)

Albert Cesare / The Enquirer

Will Anderson is trying to become the second winner of the Heisman Trophy with Michigan Desmond Howard. Anderson led the nation in sacks and tackles per loss in 2021 and will anchor one of college football’s best passes.

Bryce Young (Alabama)

It’s not surprising here, but the guy most likely to win the award is the man currently holding the crown, Bryce Young. It can be difficult for Young to go one by one as only Archie Griffin is from Ohio ever did, but Young is without a doubt one of the best players in the game and will almost certainly be in New York.
