Jamie Kaiser had one of the most successful grassroots seasons in high school play. Now that the summer season has ended, he has announced that he has been shortlisted for three schools: Indiana, Marylandas well as Virginia.

“I attended all three programs and they gave me priority,” Kaiser said. “I wanted to prioritize them. I felt most comfortable with their coaching staff and their style of play.”

The 6ft 6in Burke, Virginia shooting guard explained why each school made it to the final with 247Sports:

Indiana: “I talk to them every day. Their trainers were really on me a lot. Especially Mike Woodson. They came to all my games this summer.”

Maryland: “David Cox recruits me. The school is 45 minutes from my house and as a child I used to watch games all the time. It’s like a dream for me to be there.”

Virginia: “Tony Bennett legendary coach. He is a two-time coach of the year and national champion. The school is also close to home.”

Kaiser plans to announce his decision to attend college on Sunday, August 7 at 2:00 pm ET. He says he will base his decision on his general level of comfort with the coaching staff and the program’s players.

Kaiser, who received four stars in the 2023 national class, is ranked 73rd in 247Sports’ top 150 players.
