We’re heading into the final stretch of the 2022 college football season as Week 12 kicked off with another full number of games on the schedule. CBS Sports Network will once again be home to a coast-to-coast marathon of action as conference races are reduced to wires and teams battle for cup eligibility.

The action began on Wednesday when Miami (Ohio) defeated Northern Illinois 29-23 in a MACtion battle between two squads looking to bounce back from close defeats. Then there are four games on Saturday from noon ET until well after midnight.

First comes the battle of the independents as the army takes on UConn and the newly qualified huskies want to stay hot. Then, in the evening, Mountain West takes center stage with a couple of games big on the conference title. Wyoming hosts Boise State first in a game that could decide the Mountain Division. Finally, Fresno State travels to Nevada for a drink of the night as the Bulldogs try to get closer to the Western Division crown.

Buffalo was scheduled to host Akron in the afternoon, but the game was postponed due to heavy snow in the Buffalo, New York area.

The Bulldogs come into play after a 37-30 win over Nevada, in which star quarterback Jake Hayner threw for 313 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
