According to Tom Bogert’s initial report, the Welsh superstar has already signed most of his contract with the LAFC and will be heading to MLS on an initial one-year contract and will not be a designated player.

Bale then confirmed the move on his social media account, sharing a video of himself wearing an LAFC cap with the message, “See you soon LA!”

Is this a good move for everyone?

Gareth Bale will captain Wales in the World Cup as they play USMNT, England and Iran in Group B and he needed to play regularly after spending the season sitting on the bench at Real Madrid.

As we have seen on the international stage and when he was on loan at Tottenham (in periods), Bale still has a lot to offer when fit and fit. He has won the UEFA Champions League five times and although he has been out of favor with Real Madrid in recent seasons, his quality is undeniable.

The move is perfect for Bale as he will be playing regularly for LAFC from now until November when the World Cup kicks off and it works great for MLS and LAFC as they get another superstar to help the league’s profile continue to grow.

It’s a win-win scenario for all involved as Bale will now line up alongside Carlos Vela and Giorgio Chiellini as the LAFC go all out for their first MLS Cup title.
