Slow time The NFL isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.
During a hearing before the US House Committee on Oversight and Reform on Wednesday, Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney announced she would subpoena Commands owner Daniel Snyder to testify next week.
During the first round of questions put to Commissioner Roger Goodell, he was asked if Snyder would be held responsible for not appearing voluntarily before the committee.
“I have no responsibility for whether he appears before Congress,” Goodell said.
Congress clearly has the power to authorize Snyder’s appearance. And apparently it will.
