Drake has become one of the most famous sports players in the world, but he would like to forget about his last bet. The Grammy-winning rap star bet $400,000 on Jake Paul knocking out Tommy Fury in their much-anticipated fight in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, but Paul suffered his first career loss by split decision.
If Drake’s bet had worked, he would have won over $1.4 million since the odds were +360. Instead, Fury took Paul into the distance in a back-and-forth fight, surviving a knockdown in the final round for a big win.

Fury, half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, went 9-0 as a professional boxer. However, his undefeated record is likely to be tested once again by Paul. Paul came to the match with the stipulation of a rematch if Fury won, and both fighters expressed their desire to see it through.
β$400,000 means nothing to him, he used to win a lot more betting on me, so heβs probably at the same level now,β Paul said after the fight. “Sorry Drake, I’ll get W in the rematch.”
Drake can only hope to improve as a sports player as he has had several high-profile misses over the years, especially in combat sports. Last year, for example, Drake lost nearly $2.3 million betting on UFC fighters. Israel Adesanya And Jorge Masvidal.
