Jalen Hurts’ two long runs set up Eagles’ opening touchdown

Kenneth Gainwell got glory by scoring a 4-yard touchdown, but it was Jalen Hurts‘ feet that set the account of the opening of the disc.

The Eagles took the first kickoff and, after two unfinished games, faced third and 10th. Hearts ran 24 yards in front of Rudy Ford pushed him out.

Later in the drive, in third and sixth off Green Bay 34, Hurts took 28th.

Gainwell was in the end zone two plays later, giving the Eagles a 7–0 lead with 11:19 left in the first quarter.

Sanders had three carries for 11 yards and Gainwell had two for 6.

Hurts completed 1 of 3 passes for 6 yards.

Packer Safety Darnell Savage was injured in Herts’ first transfer and it is doubtful he will return with a leg injury.
