Instead, Fizdale is in talks with the Jazz for a front office job, according to SNY.TV’s Ian Begley.

Take it for data.

The connection here is that Fizdale is close to Jazz minority owner Dwyane Wade when Fizdale was an assistant coach for the Heat. Fizdale was the head coach for the Grizzlies and Knicks, and spent last season as a lead bench assistant for Frank Vogel with the Lakers.

The diversity of opinions and viewpoints in the front office is good, and Fizdale could bring that to the jazz power structure with Danny Ainge at the top of the ladder with Justin Zanik as general manager.

It’s worth seeing how the Jazz contemplate their organizational structure and change their roster during the off-season.
