Jerry Jones: Cowboys may do “something special” to sign a veteran free agent

Cowboys owner and CEO Jerry Jones says a free agent could be a big step forward.

“Don’t discount that we’re doing something special with the right veteran free agent. Any place. I’d be in New York for a minute if I think it fits”, Jones saidvia John Machot of TheAthletic.com.

Jones did not name the specific free agent he had in mind, but went on to say he wants to build the kind of team that can win. Duck Prescottand also win if Prescott gets hurt again.
