Joe Burrow: “Better send those refunds” for neutral site AFC Championship Game

The Bengals took it as disrespectful that the NFL was selling tickets to a potentially neutral venue. The AFC Championship game between the Bills and Chiefs, and after the Bengals thwarted those plans by beating the Bills today, Joe Burrow gloated.

“It’s better to send those refunds,” Barrow told CBS after the game.

The league has already sold over 50,000 tickets to a potential Bills-Chiefs game in Atlanta, and those tickets will now be returned. Instead, the Bengals will be in Kansas City for the AFC championship game.

“It will be fun. The two best guys in the league, the two best teams in the league,” Barrow said.

Burrow said he and his teammates did what they set out to do today in Buffalo.

“Full play from everyone, attack, defense, special teams, dominance from start to finish. This is what we expected,” Burrow said. “The work is not finished yet, next week we will have another big one on the road. Delighted with it.”
