Cincinnati took the lead 14-0.
The Bengals hit the field effectively in each of their first two drives with the quarterback. Joe Burrow hit on the tight end Hayden Hurst for a 15 yard touchdown to complete the second.
The Bengals only faced a couple of third downs, even though only one technically counted. The club converted third and third at Buffalo’s 23-yard line from an offside penalty. And then in the next series of drops, Burrow hit Hurst on the third and 7th touchdown for 15 yards.
Burrow started the game 9 of 9, passing for 105 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Joe Mixon also averaged 6.8 yards per carry, recording 34 yards on five attempts.
On the other hand, Buffalo lost twice three times due to a nightmarish start for the home team.
