Jonah Williams asks Bengals to trade him

The Bengals are planning to play with the newly signed Orlando Brown on a left tackle, and it doesn’t play well with the player in position.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Jonah Williams told the Bengals that he wants to be sold. Williams has started all 47 games he has played for the Bengals in the past three seasons.

This streak does not include the last two games the Bengals played in the playoffs last season, as a knee injury left him out of the squad. Williams underwent knee surgery in February to address the issue and is expected to make a full recovery at some point in the spring.

Williams will earn $12.6 million in the fifth and final year of his rookie contract. In the near future, we will find out if Bengals or anyone else will pay this salary.
