Kenny Golladay has MCL sprain, is not expected to travel to London with Giants

Wide receiver appears Kenny GolladayThe Giants’ disappointing tenure will include not playing this weekend against the Packers.

Holladay injured his knee last weekend and head coach Brian Daboll said earlier this week that he would be unlikely to be able to play because of it. Jan Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Golladay has sprained the MCL and is now not expected to travel to London with the team for the game this Sunday.

Galladay made two catches for 22 yards in the season opener and hasn’t caught a ball in the past three weeks. While this suggests they won’t miss him much, the team lacks strikeouts.

The giants are missing Kadarius Tony as well as Van’Dale Robinson last weekend and Sterling Shepard missing for a year, so the host corps can be reduced to David Sills, Richie James, Darius Slayton and work on squad challenges this weekend.
